모든 것은 엔지니어가 아닌 음악가로서 시작되었습니다.
주파수를 측정하기 전에, 나는 그것을 느끼는 법을 먼저 배웠습니다.
스펙을 이해하기 전에, 나는 감정을 이해했습니다 — 기타 줄의 떨림, 앰프의 포효, 마지막 코드를 마친 뒤 찾아오는 정적까지.
나는 음악 속에서 살아왔습니다.
락 기타리스트로서 무대 위에서, 작곡가로서 스튜디오 안에서 — 음악은 일이 아니라 숨쉬는 것이었습니다.
하지만 시간이 지나며, 모든 진짜 음악가가 한 번쯤 던지는 질문이 생겼습니다.
“우리 손을 떠난 음악은 과연 우리가 의도한 그대로 사람들에게 닿고 있을까?
아니면 그 과정에서 무언가 잃어버리는 걸까?”
그 질문이 바로 AME의 시작점이었습니다.
또 하나의 오디오 기기를 만들기 위해서가 아니라,
창작과 청취 사이에서 잃어버린 감정을 되살리기 위해서였죠.
나는 단순히 ‘소리’를 재현하는 것이 아니라, 음악이 태어난 순간의 솔직함과 진심을 담은 도구를 만들고 싶었습니다.
소리뿐 아니라, 그 안의 영혼까지 전달할 수 있는 악기처럼 말이죠.
엔지니어로서 나는 정밀함 속에서 아름다움을 찾았습니다.
하지만 음악가로서 나는 완벽함만으로는 부족하다는 것을 알고 있었습니다.
음악은 수학이 아닙니다.
음악은 숨 쉬고, 피를 흘리고, 매 순간의 박동에 따라 변합니다.
그래서 AME에서는 기술이 예술을 섬깁니다.
그 반대는 절대 아닙니다.
모든 회로, 모든 드라이버, 모든 하우징 곡선에는 단 하나의 이유가 있습니다 — 감정이 예술가로부터 청취자에게 전달되는 여정을 온전히 살아남게 하기 위해서.
그렇기에 AME의 모든 창작은 기계가 아니라 음악에서 시작됩니다.

It all began as a musician, not just an engineer. Before I learned how to measure frequencies, I learned how to feel them. Before I understood specifications, I understood emotion — the trembling pulse of a guitar string, the roar of an amp, the silence that follows a final chord.
I spent my early years living inside music. On stage as a rock guitarist, in the studio as a composer — music wasn’t work, it was air. But as time went on, I began to ask a question that every true musician faces: What happens to music after it leaves our hands? Does it reach people the way we intended, or does it lose something along the way?
That question became the starting point of AME.
Not to make another audio device, but to restore the emotion that gets lost between creation and listening. I wanted to build an instrument that carries the same honesty as the moment a song was born — to reproduce not just the sound, but the soul within it.
As an engineer, I found beauty in precision. But as a musician, I knew that perfection alone was never enough. Music is not mathematics. It breathes, it bleeds, it changes with every heartbeat. So in AME, technology serves the art — never the other way around. Every circuit, every driver, every housing curve exists for one reason: to let emotion survive the journey from the artist to the listener.
That is why every AME creation begins with music, not machinery.
